The program unternehmensWert:Mensch is funded by the Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs and the European Social Fund.

Demographic change, shortages due to illness or a lack of young talent – the personnel requirements for companies are diverse, and retaining skilled workers is a challenge across all sectors. However, small and medium-sized companies often lack the resources to tackle these challenges.
This is where the consulting program unternehmensWert:Mensch comes in. With tailored consulting services, it supports small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in developing modern, employee-oriented human resources strategies.
What are the goals?
unternehmensWert:Mensch aims to initiate sustainable learning and change processes in companies. The goals of the funded consulting program are:
- to sensitize small and medium-sized enterprises to future challenges,
- to offer companies concrete support in the development and implementation of an employee-oriented human resources policy,
- to enable small and medium-sized enterprises to respond appropriately and independently to the wide range of operational challenges posed by changes in the world of work and production and by demographic change, and
- to establish a corporate culture in the companies that is conducive to motivation, health and innovation.

Who is eligible for funding?
Companies that meet the following criteria are eligible for funding:
- Registered office and place of work in Germany
- Annual sales of less than EUR 50 million or annual balance sheet total of less than EUR 43 million
- company has been in existence for at least two years
- less than 250 employees*
- at least one full-time employee subject to social insurance contributions (The calculation is based on annual work units. Part-time employees can be taken into account on a pro-rata basis).
