What is the unternehmensWert:Mensch – plus program about?
Using the opportunities of digitization profitably has also become an economic necessity for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). To do this, companies need sustainable strategies and new concepts. This is where the new program branch UnternehmensWert:Mensch plus (uWM plus) comes in, by promoting company learning and experimentation spaces. As part of professional process consulting, your company will be made fit for digitization. In a participation-oriented learning process, custom-fit solutions for digital transformation are developed and innovative work concepts are tested.
What can be the content of the consulting?
The questions that your company can address in a learning and experimentation space are diverse: Where do new business areas arise through digitization? How can you use digital technologies to make work easier? Which activities that are harmful to health can be taken over by machines and digital assistance systems? What new opportunities can you open up for older employees? Where are new activities emerging and how do you deal with new qualification requirements? What new working time models are possible? What workplace design is conceivable to meet business requirements as well as employees’ needs for more flexibility in working hours and location? What does this new degree of flexibility mean for health? How must work processes and personnel management develop under these conditions? What impact do technological and organizational changes have on the culture in your company?
Who is eligible for funding?
Companies that meet the following criteria are eligible for funding:
- Registered office and place of work in Germany
- Annual sales of less than EUR 50 million or annual balance sheet total of less than EUR 43 million
- company has been in existence for at least two years
- less than 250 employees*
- at least one full-time employee subject to social insurance contributions (The calculation is based on annual work units. Part-time employees can be taken into account on a pro-rata basis).
The funding covers twelve consulting days, the funding rate is 80 percent, i.e. 20 percent of the eligible consulting fee must be paid by the companies as their own contribution. A total of approximately five to six months should be planned for the consulting process.
